The Apple A9X is a processor designed for mobile devices, manufactured using the 16 nm process with A9 architecture, 3 MB L2 cache and 4 MB L3 cache.

It was designed to offer high performance in tablets. The Apple M1 is a modern System-on-a-Chip for a wide range of Apple devices.

It is based on 5 nm manufacturing, M1 architecture, integrates an 8-core CPU and 16 MB L2 cache. The Apple M1 significantly outperforms the Apple A9X in single-core and multi-core tasks, offering significantly higher computing power and efficiency. The Apple A9X integrates an Apple A9X graphics unit with 51 GB/s memory bandwidth, suitable for mobile games of its time.

The Apple M1 features a more powerful Apple M1 (8 Core) graphics unit and 68 GB/s memory bandwidth for a significantly better gaming experience with modern titles. The Apple A9X is known for energy-efficient operation in mobile devices. Thanks to 5 nm manufacturing, the Apple M1 delivers high performance with lower power consumption and is known for outstanding energy efficiency.

Both processors are firmly integrated into Apple devices and are not available separately. The Apple A9X is found in older devices, the Apple M1 in current models. The M1 offers significantly better performance per watt compared to the A9X. The Apple A9X is a solid option for basic tasks.

The Apple M1 is the superior choice for users who need high computing power, improved graphics performance, and excellent energy efficiency for demanding applications and modern games.
