AMD Ryzen 7 5700U vs Intel Processor U300

Last updated:
The AMD Ryzen 7 5700U is a mobile processor from AMD, manufactured using the 7nm process (Lucienne Zen 2).

Designed for energy-efficient laptops, it offers 8 cores, 16 threads, and 8 MB of L3 cache. In benchmarks, it shows significantly higher multi-core performance in Geekbench 6 and Cinebench 2024, and superior single-core performance in Cinebench R23. Its integrated AMD Radeon RX Vega 8 (Renoir) graphics are more powerful for light gaming.

With configurable TDP (10-25W), it is designed for efficiency; max. memory bandwidth 51 GB/s. The Intel Processor U300, a mobile processor from Intel, uses the 10nm Raptor Lake U architecture.

Intended for energy-efficient notebooks, it features a hybrid design with one performance core and four efficiency cores (a total of 5 cores and 6 threads) and 10 MB of L3 cache. In benchmarks, the Intel Processor U300 exhibits noticeably higher single-core performance in Geekbench 6 and Cinebench 2024, and higher multi-core performance in Cinebench R23.

Its integrated Intel UHD Graphics 13th Gen (48 EU) is suitable for basic graphical tasks. Base power 15 Watts; max. memory bandwidth 83 GB/s. Both processors are not available separately. The AMD Ryzen 7 5700U is ideal for multitasking, productive tasks, and light gaming (strong multi-core performance, better graphics).

The Intel Processor U300 is well-suited for general office tasks and applications focusing on single-core performance.
