The AMD A6-3500 comes from an earlier generation of the AMD APU family. This processor, manufactured in the 32nm process, used the then innovative Llano architecture. A prominent feature was the integrated graphics solution, the AMD Radeon HD 6530D. It allowed building a complete system without a separate graphics card.

For its time, this represented an extremely cost-effective option. The chip offered solid performance for everyday office tasks. Light multimedia applications and casual games also ran quite well on it. The integrated graphics provided a surprisingly smooth display. With 3 MB of L3 cache, the processor supported the overall system performance.

The AMD A6-3500 embodied AMD's important APU approach. It established the idea of the combined processor for broad user groups. This provided an affordable and functional overall package. Especially price-conscious buyers found a really interesting offer here. The A6-3500 offered a balanced mix of CPU performance and graphics solution.

This enabled the inexpensive construction of a fully functional PC. This allowed users to cover a variety of digital needs back then.
