Benchmarks & Specs

Last updated:
The Intel Core i5-2380P is a processor based on the Sandy Bridge S architecture. It was manufactured using the advanced 32nm process, which was considered groundbreaking at the time of its introduction. Its design aimed for solid everyday performance. It offered a consistently reliable foundation for the tasks common at the time, such as browsing, word processing, or emails.

Even today, some older applications and programs can still be executed well with it. Particularly noteworthy is the 6 MB Level 3 Cache. This contributed significantly to its responsive operation and ensured smoother processes in daily use. We were surprised at how well it continues to perform for many basic computing needs.

Since this processor does not have an integrated graphics unit, a separate graphics card is always necessary for operation. Its architecture was known at the time for its good efficiency and balanced computing power. It formed a solid basis for many computer systems of that time. Anyone looking for a reliable processor for less demanding activities may find an interesting and suitable option here.

This chip demonstrated early on how robust Intel's designs can be.
