The AMD E1-6010 is a processor designed for simple, everyday computing tasks. It belongs to the Beema architecture generation, which was based on a 28-nanometer manufacturing process. This design deliberately aimed for high energy efficiency. This made it a really good choice for compact and mobile systems of that time.

This chip was therefore often found in inexpensive laptops or nettops. There, it usually performed its service reliably and inconspicuously.
