Benchmarks & Specs

Last updated:
The AMD A8-3530MX was a remarkable mobile processor in its day. It belonged to the first generation of AMD's so-called APUs, known under the codename Llano. This architecture was truly groundbreaking, as it combined CPU and GPU cores on a single chip. This enabled a more compact design, which was naturally ideal for laptops and took up less space.

A special feature of this processor is the integrated graphics unit, the AMD Radeon HD 6620G. It offered quite solid graphics performance for the time. Many users appreciated this feature, whether for everyday tasks or even for a less demanding game. This chip was manufactured using the 32nm process, which was state-of-the-art at the time.

It has an L3 cache of 4 MB, which further supported overall performance. Even though we apply completely different standards to processors today, the AMD A8-3530MX always did its job reliably. With a maximum memory bandwidth of 26 GB/s, it was well-equipped for its tasks and could process data quickly.

It was a reasonable choice for price-conscious notebooks. We remember that it could display basic multimedia content smoothly. For its time, the combination of processor and integrated graphics was a very well thought-out solution that met many needs.
  • Integrated APU architecture (Llano)
  • Solid integrated graphics (AMD Radeon HD 6620G)
  • Reliable performance for everyday tasks
