Intel Processor U300 vs Intel Processor N95

Last updated:
The Intel Processor U300, based on the Raptor Lake U architecture, and the Intel Processor N95, based on the Alder Lake N architecture, are energy-efficient Intel processors.

The U300 is designed for thin & light laptops and compact desktops, while the N95 is conceived for mini-PCs and simple entry-level systems. Both are manufactured using the 10 nm process. The Intel Processor U300 features a hybrid design with one performance core and four efficient cores (five cores/six threads) as well as 10 MB of Level 3 cache.

Its integrated Intel UHD Graphics 13th Gen (48 EU) and 83 GB/s memory bandwidth enable noticeably higher single-core and multi-core performance, even in benchmarks. This makes it better suited for multitasking, lighter creative tasks, and occasional, simple gaming. The Intel Processor N95 relies on four efficient cores (four cores/four threads) with 4 MB of Level 2 and 6 MB of Level 3 cache.

Its integrated Intel UHD Graphics (16 EUs) and 38 GB/s memory bandwidth offer basic performance for daily applications such as web browsing or word processing. In performance tests, it achieves lower values than the U300. Both processors are characterized by low power consumption. The Intel Processor U300 generally offers significantly higher performance for more demanding tasks.

The Intel Processor N95 represents a very cost-effective solution for basic computing needs, where energy efficiency and budget are paramount.
