Intel Processor N200 vs Intel Processor N95

Last updated:
The Intel Processor N200 and Intel Processor N95 are energy-efficient desktop processors from Intel, based on the Alder Lake N architecture and designed for compact, cost-effective systems.

Both are manufactured using the 10 nm process and are conceived for everyday applications that require a good balance of performance and energy consumption. Both processors utilize the Alder Lake N architecture with four efficiency cores and feature 4 MB of Level 2 Cache as well as 6 MB of Level 3 Cache.

They offer a maximum memory bandwidth of 38 GB/s. In terms of computing performance, the Intel Processor N95 shows noticeably higher single-core and multi-core performance in Cinebench R23 and Cinebench 2024, with multi-core performance being particularly strong in Cinebench 2024. The Intel Processor N200, however, exhibits better performance in the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench 6, with a clear advantage over the Intel Processor N95.

The performance differences in the respective benchmarks exceed ten percent. For gaming scenarios, the Intel Processor N200 is more advantageous as it features Intel UHD Graphics with 32 Execution Units (EUs). The Intel Processor N95 is equipped with Intel UHD Graphics with 16 EUs, which gives it lower graphics performance.

Neither is designed for demanding gaming, but the Intel Processor N200 offers better possibilities for light games and multimedia. Both processors are optimized for low power consumption and are very energy-efficient, typical for the Alder Lake N architecture. They are therefore well-suited for fanless or passively cooled systems where quiet operation and low power consumption are crucial.

Specific TDP values are not relevant here, as they are designed for efficiency. Without market prices, a detailed evaluation of the price-performance ratio is difficult. The Intel Processor N200 might be more attractive for certain use cases due to its stronger graphics performance, while the Intel Processor N95 has an edge in pure CPU loads in specific benchmarks.

Intel Processor N200

  • Better performance in Geekbench 6 (single-core and multi-core).
  • Stronger integrated graphics unit (Intel UHD Graphics with 32 EUs).
  • Suitable for general productivity and light multimedia applications.
  • High energy efficiency for compact systems.

Intel Processor N95

  • Higher performance in Cinebench R23 and Cinebench 2024 (single-core and multi-core).
  • Lower graphics performance (Intel UHD Graphics with 16 EUs).
  • Ideal for pure computing tasks and energy-saving thin clients.
  • Very energy-efficient for passively cooled systems.
