It is based on the Alder Lake U architecture and is manufactured using the 10-nanometer process. With a total of twelve cores and sixteen threads, this processor offers a high capacity for parallel tasks. The maximum memory bandwidth of 83 GB/s supports fast data exchange. In common single-core and multi-core performance tests, the Intel Core i5-1240P is significantly ahead of the competition.

Thanks to the integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics 80 (Alder Lake), simple games can be displayed smoothly. The thermal design power is 28 watts, which requires active cooling. It offers adequate performance for modern office applications. The AMD 3015Ce is an entry-level processor of the Dali (Zen) architecture, primarily intended for low-cost devices such as Chromebooks.

Production takes place using the 14-nanometer process, and the CPU has only two cores and four threads. The memory bandwidth is relatively low at 13 GB/s. In a direct comparison, the performance in single-core and multi-core scenarios is significantly lower than that of the Intel counterpart. The integrated AMD Radeon RX Vega 3 (Raven Ridge) graphics are limited to basic multimedia tasks.

A major advantage is the low TDP of only 6 watts, which enables very economical operation and often fanless cases. The AMD 3015Ce scores particularly well due to its low price in areas of use such as simple web applications.
