In games, the core count often limits frame rates, which is why it is more suitable for casual gamers. With a moderate TDP, energy consumption remains low, simplifying cooling. The price-performance ratio is appropriate for simple office computers. The Intel Core i7-9700 is based on the Coffee Lake S Refresh architecture and was developed for demanding users and gamers.

Also manufactured in 14 nanometers, it offers eight cores and eight threads, giving it a significant advantage in multi-core performance. Benchmarks confirm higher efficiency in parallel processes and increased single-core performance compared to the i3 model. Thanks to 12 MB Level 3 Cache and a memory bandwidth of 43 GB/s, the Intel Core i7-9700 handles complex calculations and modern gaming more smoothly.

Despite the higher performance, the thermal design power remains manageable but requires more stable cooling. It represents a powerful option for workstations, with corresponding higher acquisition costs. The Intel Core i3-8100 is ideal for simple office work and media systems.
