With a maximum memory bandwidth of 26 GB/s and PCIe 3.0 support, the hardware is designed for older infrastructures. The thermal design power is 35 watts, which makes active cooling necessary. In gaming scenarios, the CPU is hardly competitive anymore due to its aging architecture. Today, the Intel Core i3-4160T is primarily used in used systems for simple office tasks or as a small home server.

The Intel Processor N100 originates from the Alder Lake N architecture and is designed for modern mini-PCs.

It is manufactured in a 10-nanometer process and offers four cores without additional multithreading. In benchmarks, the processor achieves significantly higher performance in single-core and multi-core scenarios than the older comparison model. The Intel UHD Graphics with 24 units enables better playback of media content, although general gaming performance for complex titles remains limited.

Thanks to a TDP of only 6 watts, the system operates extremely energy-efficiently. With 38 GB/s memory bandwidth and a larger L3 cache, the general operating speed is higher. The Intel Processor N100 offers a favorable price-performance ratio for current office applications. It is recommended for users looking for a silent and power-saving system for everyday use.
