The Intel Core i3-13100, based on the Alder Lake S Refresh architecture, is a desktop processor designed for mainstream users. It features four Performance-cores (P-cores) that provide eight threads and offers a Level 2 Cache of 5 MB as well as a Level 3 Cache of 12 MB. Its architecture and higher clock frequencies deliver significantly superior single-core and multi-core performance for demanding tasks, multitasking, and gaming.

The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 730, PCIe 5.0, and a maximum memory bandwidth of 77 GB/s support this. Its power consumption is designed for maximum computing power, which typically requires active cooling. The Intel Core i3-N305, on the other hand, with its Alder Lake N architecture, is designed for energy-efficient, compact systems and mobile applications.

It exclusively uses eight Efficiency-cores (E-cores) with eight threads and features a Level 2 Cache of 8 MB as well as a Level 3 Cache of 6 MB. This processor delivers solid performance for basic office and web applications but is unsuitable for intensive computing loads or modern gaming. Its integrated Intel UHD Graphics 13th Gen (32 EU) and a memory bandwidth of 38 GB/s are limited to simple graphical tasks.

Its extremely low power consumption enables fanless designs and high energy efficiency.
