Intel Celeron J6413 vs Intel Processor N100

Last updated:
The Intel Celeron J6413, based on the Elkhart Lake architecture and manufactured in 10 nm, is designed for embedded systems and basic applications.

It offers four cores, four threads, and Intel UHD Graphics 16 EUs (Elkhart Lake). With PCIe 3.0, 60 GB/s memory bandwidth, and 2 MB L2 cache, it stands for energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The Intel Processor N100, also manufactured in 10 nm, uses the more modern Alder Lake N architecture.

It targets compact PCs and energy-efficient laptops and features four efficient cores with four threads. The integrated graphics solution is Intel UHD Graphics 24 EUs (Alder Lake). It supports PCIe 3.0, achieves 38 GB/s memory bandwidth, and offers 4 MB L2 and 6 MB L3 cache. Performance-wise, the Intel Processor N100 significantly outperforms the Intel Celeron J6413 in single-core and multi-core tasks, leading to a smoother user experience.

Neither is designed for gaming; however, the Intel Processor N100 offers slightly better performance for very simple games or media playback thanks to its stronger graphics unit. Both processors are designed for very low power consumption and low TDPs, ideal for fanless systems. Priced as cost-effective entry-level solutions, the Intel Processor N100 delivers superior overall performance for a small additional cost.

The Intel Celeron J6413 is suitable for specialized embedded applications, while the Intel Processor N100 is for everyday computing tasks in compact PCs that require more performance.
