Intel Celeron J3455 vs Intel Processor N150

Last updated:
The Intel Celeron J3455, based on the Apollo Lake architecture, is designed for energy-efficient desktop and mini-PCs for basic tasks.

It is manufactured using a 14-nanometer process and features four processing cores. Its Intel HD Graphics 500 supports PCIe 2.0 with 30 GB/s memory bandwidth and 2 MB Level 3 Cache. The Intel Processor N150 is a more modern chip with the Twin Lake architecture, manufactured using a more advanced 7-nanometer process.

It also features four processing cores but offers 4 MB Level 2 and 6 MB Level 3 Cache. Its more powerful Intel UHD Graphics (Alder Lake) supports PCIe 3.0 with 38 GB/s memory bandwidth. It is intended for improved performance and efficiency in similar systems. In a direct performance comparison, the Intel Processor N150 shows a clear advantage.

Its single-core and multi-core performance significantly surpasses that of the Intel Celeron J3455, enabling a more responsive system experience. Both processors are not designed for demanding games; the graphics performance of the Intel Processor N150 is superior for very simple titles.

Both CPUs are optimized for low power consumption, with the Intel Processor N150 offering better energy efficiency at higher performance thanks to its newer manufacturing process. The Intel Celeron J3455 is found in older or cost-effective systems, while the Intel Processor N150 offers better value for money in newer entry-level PCs.
