It is also manufactured using the efficient 3-nm process. This chip features 16 CPU cores and an extremely powerful integrated graphics processor with 40 cores, the Apple M4 Max (40 Core). While its single-core performance is comparable to the Apple M4 (10-CPU), its multi-core performance significantly surpasses it, ideal for intensive parallel workloads.

In gaming and graphics-intensive applications, the Apple M4 Max (16-CPU 40-GPU) offers significantly higher performance thanks to its many GPU cores.
