AMD Ryzen 5 7530U vs Intel Processor N95

Last updated:
The AMD Ryzen 5 7530U is a mobile processor from the 7030U series, introduced in 2023. Based on the Zen 3 architecture (Barcelo) and manufactured using a 7 nm process, it features 6 cores and 12 threads.

This enables significantly higher computing power in single-core and multi-core operations, making it a better choice for more demanding productivity tasks, multitasking, and light creative work. With 3 MB L2 and 16 MB L3 cache, it optimizes data processing. The integrated AMD Radeon RX Vega 7 graphics unit also offers better capabilities for light gaming and multimedia, which translates into superior performance in gaming scenarios.

Its typical TDP is optimized for thin and light laptops, ensuring excellent performance per watt, which represents good value for money in these application areas. The Intel Processor N95 is an entry-level mobile processor, also introduced in early 2023.

It is based on the Alder Lake N architecture and is manufactured using a 10 nm process. Equipped with 4 cores and 4 threads (Gracemont cores), as well as 4 MB L2 and 6 MB L3 cache, its computing power is primarily designed for basic tasks. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics with 16 EUs offers simple display capabilities but is very limited for gaming.

Its biggest advantage lies in extreme energy efficiency and very low power consumption, making it ideal for cost-effective devices like mini-PCs or Chromebooks. Here, passive cooling, long battery life, and the smooth execution of basic office applications, web browsing, and media playback are paramount.

It is the recommended choice for budget-conscious applications where absolute computing power is less critical.
