The AMD FX-8370E (Vishera/Bulldozer, 32 nm) was previously aimed at the mainstream desktop market.

It has 8 cores/8 threads, 8 MB L3 cache, and 30 GB/s memory bandwidth. Its single-core performance is low; in multi-core applications, it is often inferior to modern architectures. Integrated graphics are missing. With a 95W TDP, power consumption is high. It is now only available very cheaply on the used market.

The Intel Processor N150 (Twin Lake, 7 nm) targets energy-efficient entry-level systems.

It features 2 cores/2 threads, 4 MB L2 cache, 6 MB L3 cache, 38 GB/s memory bandwidth, and PCIe 3.0. Thanks to its modern architecture, it offers significantly higher single-core performance and good multi-core performance. It integrates Intel UHD Graphics with 24 EUs for basic graphics requirements.

Its very low TDP of 6.5W makes it extremely energy-efficient and ideal for new, inexpensive systems. Both are unsuitable for demanding gaming. The FX-8370E would be CPU-limited. The N150 can only display very light games with integrated graphics. For most modern use cases, the Intel Processor N150 is the clearly superior choice with better value for money.

The FX-8370E is now only relevant for legacy systems.
