Benchmarks & Specs

Last updated:
The AMD EPYC 7452 is a server processor that quickly established itself as a robust choice for professional environments. It is based on the Rome (Zen 2) architecture, a pioneering development for data centers. It was manufactured using the then-advanced 7 nm process. This combination delivered remarkable performance for diverse server applications.

An important feature was the early support for PCIe 4.0. This offered a clear advantage in high data transfer rates and demanding I/O tasks. In addition, the processor has a generous 128 MB Level 3 cache. This cache offers plenty of space for frequently needed data. A maximum memory bandwidth of 51 GB/s supports the efficient processing of large amounts of data.

We note that the AMD EPYC 7452 is still a very reliable option today. It provides a solid foundation for a wide variety of server tasks and thus remains an attractive solution.
