Intel Processor N150 vs Intel Processor N100

Last updated:
The Intel Processor N100 and Intel Processor N150 are energy-efficient processors for entry-level devices such as mini-PCs and inexpensive laptops, optimized for basic computing requirements.

The Intel Processor N100 is based on the Alder Lake N architecture and is manufactured using a 10 nm process. It features 4 MB L2 and 6 MB L3 cache, as well as Intel UHD Graphics (24 EUs, Alder Lake) with 38 GB/s memory bandwidth. In single-core performance, it shows an advantage in one benchmark, while multi-core performance is comparable to the N150 or slightly lower.

The Intel Processor N150 utilizes the Twin Lake architecture and is manufactured using a more advanced 7 nm process. It also has 4 MB L2 and 6 MB L3 cache, Intel UHD Graphics (24 EUs, Alder Lake), and 38 GB/s memory bandwidth. In multi-core performance, it significantly outperforms the N100 in a specific benchmark, while other tests show similar results.

Both processors are not suitable for demanding games and are designed for high energy efficiency, ideal for fanless systems. Specific TDP values are not available. They are found in cost-effective end devices. For tasks with slight single-core dominance, the Intel Processor N100 is more advantageous.

If stronger multi-core performance is needed in specific scenarios, the Intel Processor N150 offers advantages. For everyday use, both are equally suitable.
