Intel Processor N100 vs AMD Ryzen 5 5560U

Last updated:
The Intel Processor N100, based on the Alder Lake N architecture and manufactured in the 10 nm process, is designed for energy-efficient entry-level devices.

It features four cores and four threads, which are designed for efficiency. Its performance in single- and multi-core applications is sufficient for basic tasks such as web browsing and office work. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 24 EUs (Alder Lake) is suitable for simple visual tasks. This processor is characterized by its extremely low power consumption, making it ideal for fanless systems and offering a very good price-performance ratio in the segment of basic applications.

The AMD Ryzen 5 5560U, manufactured in the 7 nm process based on the Cezanne (Zen 3) architecture, is aimed at mainstream notebooks.

It offers six cores and twelve threads, which results in significantly higher performance in single- and multi-core applications. This makes it much better suited for multitasking and more demanding software. The integrated AMD Radeon RX Vega 6 (Renoir) graphics noticeably outperform those of the Intel Processor N100 and allow for smoother rendering in lighter games.

Despite higher performance, power consumption remains optimized for mobile systems. Its price-performance ratio is very good for users with medium performance requirements.
