The Intel Pentium G4560 (Kaby Lake S) is an older desktop processor for basic tasks. The Intel Processor N100 (Alder Lake N) is a modern, energy-efficient processor for mini PCs and simple desktop applications.

The Intel Pentium G4560 is manufactured on a 14 nm process (two cores, four threads, 1 MB L2, 3 MB L3 cache). The Intel Processor N100 uses a 10 nm process (four cores, four threads, 4 MB L2, 6 MB L3 cache). Both support PCIe 3.0 and 38 GB/s memory bandwidth. The Intel Processor N100 significantly outperforms the Intel Pentium G4560 in single-core performance.

In multi-core performance, the N100 is also generally more powerful, although the G4560 shows comparable values in some older multi-core tests. With its Intel UHD Graphics 24 EUs (Alder Lake), the Intel Processor N100 offers clearly better graphics performance than the Intel HD Graphics 610 of the Intel Pentium G4560.

For casual gaming and multimedia, the N100 is more advantageous. Thanks to its 10 nm manufacturing process, the Intel Processor N100 is characterized by very low power consumption and high energy efficiency. While the Intel Pentium G4560 also has low power consumption, it is higher than that of the N100.

The outdated Intel Pentium G4560 is only relevant on the used market for budget-conscious basic tasks. For new systems seeking modern efficiency, improved graphics, and higher computing performance, the current Intel Processor N100 is the better choice and offers excellent value for money.
