The Intel Core i7-9700 is a high-end processor from the Coffee Lake S Refresh series and was developed for gamers and professional users.

Despite the same 14-nanometer manufacturing, with eight cores and eight threads, it offers significantly higher computing power than the i5 model. It outperforms the comparison model in single- and multi-core performance through more cores and a 12 MB cache. In games, the number of cores ensures more stable frame rates and better load distribution.

Despite increased performance, the TDP is 65 watts. With 43 GB/s memory bandwidth, PCIe 3.0 and the Intel UHD Graphics 630, it is a solid basis for software. It is more expensive but offers higher efficiency for modern applications. For multitasking and gaming, the Intel Core i7-9700 is the better choice.
