In benchmarks, the Intel Core i3-14100 outperforms the Intel Core i7-9700 in single-core performance (Geekbench 6) and multi-core performance (Geekbench 6, Cinebench R23).

In gaming, it often delivers better performance thanks to its higher IPC. Its 10 nm manufacturing ensures better energy efficiency. As a current model, it is available new but requires a modern LGA1700 platform.
