The Intel Processor N100, also manufactured using the 10 nm process and part of the Alder Lake N architecture, is designed for the entry-level segment, ideal for mini-PCs or cost-effective laptops that offer energy efficiency and basic functionalities.

Both processors are manufactured using the 10 nm fabrication process. The Intel Core i7-1060NG7 features 8 MB of Level 3 Cache, 60 GB/s maximum memory bandwidth, and integrated Intel Iris Plus Graphics G7. The Intel Processor N100 offers 4 MB of Level 2 Cache, 6 MB of Level 3 Cache, 38 GB/s maximum memory bandwidth, and Intel UHD Graphics 24 EUs (Alder Lake) as its graphics solution.

In benchmarks, the Intel Core i7-1060NG7 significantly outperforms the Intel Processor N100 in single-core and multi-core performance in Cinebench R23. In Geekbench 6, the single-core performance of the Intel Core i7-1060NG7 is also noticeably higher, while the multi-core performance of both is comparable.

For gaming, the Intel Core i7-1060NG7, with its stronger Iris Plus Graphics G7 and better computing performance, is the superior choice for lighter titles. The Intel Processor N100 is optimized for maximum energy efficiency and offers good value for money for basic tasks.

The Intel Core i7-1060NG7 delivers higher performance with good energy efficiency but was found in higher-priced systems.
