Optimized for energy-efficient mini-PCs, it offers 4 cores and 4 threads, 4 MB of Level 2 and 6 MB of Level 3 cache. Its modern Intel UHD Graphics with 24 EUs (Alder Lake) provides improved graphics performance. A significant advantage is its extremely low TDP of 6 watts, with a maximum memory bandwidth of 38 GB/s.

Performance, Gaming, and Energy Efficiency: The single-core performance of both processors is very comparable. The multi-core performance of the Intel Core i5-8250U is slightly higher than that of the Intel Processor N100, thanks to its 8 threads, with differences remaining under 10 percent.

Neither is suitable for demanding games, but the newer graphics unit of the Intel Processor N100 offers advantages for very light titles. The Intel Processor N100, with a 6-watt TDP, is significantly more energy-efficient than the Intel Core i5-8250U, which has a 15-watt TDP.
