In terms of performance, the Intel Core i5-3470 offers solid single-core performance for its generation, but its multi-core performance is limited compared to modern CPUs.

Thanks to its newer architecture and higher core count, it shows both improved single-core and significantly higher multi-core performance.

The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 24 EUs (Alder Lake) offers better performance for very light games or media playback. It supports PCIe 3.0 and achieves a maximum memory bandwidth of 38 GB/s. In terms of power consumption, it is significantly more efficient. For new systems prioritizing energy efficiency and modern basic tasks, the Intel Processor N150 is the better choice, offering superior performance per watt.

The Intel Core i5-3470 is primarily suitable for the very cost-effective reuse of existing, older hardware.
