The Intel Core i5-1035G4 is based on the Ice Lake U architecture and was developed for mobile devices and compact desktop systems.

This processor is manufactured using the 10-nanometer process and offers four cores with eight threads. In synthetic comparisons, the Intel Core i5-1035G4 achieves higher multi-core performance than the comparison model, while the single-core performance is also superior in certain scenarios.

For simple games, it is better suited due to the Intel Iris Plus Graphics G4 and a memory bandwidth of 60 GB/s. The thermal design power is set higher, which requires appropriate cooling. It is recommended for users who need solid computing power for everyday tasks and light creative work in compact cases.

The Intel Processor N100 uses the Alder Lake N architecture and targets the entry-level market as well as silent micro-computers.

It is also produced using the 10-nanometer process, but has four cores with only four threads. Performance when using single cores is stable, but falls behind the Intel Core i5-1035G4 for parallel tasks. Since the Intel UHD Graphics 24 EUs (Alder Lake) accesses a lower memory bandwidth of 38 GB/s, graphical performance is limited.

A major advantage is the very low power consumption, which often enables passive operation. The Intel Processor N100 is the preferred choice for cost-effective systems where energy efficiency and silent operation are more important than high computing power.
