The Intel Core i3-9100, introduced based on the Coffee Lake S Refresh architecture, was aimed at mainstream desktop systems.

It is manufactured using the 14 nm process and features 4 cores and 4 threads, as well as Intel UHD Graphics 630. Its PCIe 3.0 support and 6 MB Level 3 Cache are standard. In benchmarks, the Intel Core i3-9100 shows significantly higher single-core performance and noticeably superior multi-core performance compared to the Intel Processor N150, with differences clearly exceeding the 10 percent threshold.

For light gaming scenarios, it provides a better foundation due to its CPU performance. Its power consumption is typically higher, requiring appropriate cooling. It is primarily available on the used market. The Intel Processor N150, based on the Twin Lake architecture, is a newer processor for energy-efficient and compact systems.

It is manufactured using a more advanced 7 nm process and integrates Intel UHD Graphics 24 EUs (Alder Lake), as well as 4 MB Level 2 Cache and 6 MB Level 3 Cache. It also supports PCIe 3.0. Despite lower computing performance compared to the Intel Core i3-9100, its strength lies in extremely low power consumption, making it ideal for fanless or passively cooled systems.

It is less suitable for gaming. It is mostly found in new, low-cost mini-PCs or embedded solutions and offers excellent energy efficiency for basic applications.
