Intel Core i3-4330T vs Intel Processor N150

Last updated:
The Intel Core i3-4330T, based on the Haswell S architecture, was introduced around 2013 as an energy-efficient solution for desktop systems and small form factors.

Manufactured using the 22 nm process, it offers solid single-core performance that is still sufficient for basic office applications and everyday tasks. Equipped with integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600 and 4 MB Level 3 Cache, it is primarily designed for media playback and less demanding applications.

PCIe 3.0 connectivity and a maximum memory bandwidth of 26 GB/s reflect the technological standards of its generation. Its strength lies in the robust processing of sequential tasks. The Intel Processor N150 originates from the Twin Lake architecture and was launched around 2023, primarily for energy-efficient and compact systems.

Manufactured using the more advanced 7 nm process, it offers significantly higher energy efficiency. This processor features 4 MB Level 2 Cache and 6 MB Level 3 Cache, contributing to improved data processing and system responsiveness. Its internal Intel UHD Graphics 24 EUs (Alder Lake) and a maximum memory bandwidth of 38 GB/s enable smoother rendering and are well-suited for light multi-core tasks.

The modern architecture offers advantages for current, less demanding applications. In a performance comparison, the Intel Core i3-4330T shows stronger single-core performance in older benchmarks. The Intel Processor N150, however, excels with superior multi-core performance in newer benchmarks, which is attributable to its more efficient architecture.

The Intel Processor N150 also has the edge in terms of memory bandwidth and cache sizes, positively impacting overall performance and system responsiveness. Neither processor is primarily designed for gaming; however, with its more modern Intel UHD Graphics, the Intel Processor N150 tends to offer better support for very light or older games than the Intel HD Graphics 4600 of the Intel Core i3-4330T.

Regarding power consumption, the Intel Processor N150 is significantly more efficient than the 22 nm manufactured Intel Core i3-4330T, thanks to its 7 nm manufacturing process. Today, the Intel Core i3-4330T is a cost-effective option on the used market for basic requirements, while the Intel Processor N150 offers good performance per watt in new, energy-efficient systems for modern, light applications.
