The Intel Core i3-3210 is based on the Ivy Bridge S architecture and was designed for use in classic desktop PCs.

Manufactured using the 22-nanometer process, this processor has two computing cores and four threads. With a maximum memory bandwidth of 26 GB/s and an L3 cache of 3 MB, it was aimed at home users for everyday tasks. The connection is established via the PCIe 2.0 interface. In synthetic tests, the Intel Core i3-3210 shows basic single-core performance, but falls significantly behind in many applications by comparison.

The integrated Intel HD Graphics 2500 offers only minimal graphical capabilities for image output. With a thermal design power of 55 watts, the CPU requires active cooling. It is available cheaply on the used market, but offers low efficiency compared to newer standards. The Intel Processor N100 uses the more modern Alder Lake N architecture and is produced using the more efficient 10-nanometer process.

It is primarily optimized for compact mini-computers and mobile devices. The processor offers four cores and a memory bandwidth of 38 GB/s. With a 4 MB L2 cache and a 6 MB L3 cache, it significantly exceeds the computing capacity of the other model. Benchmarks confirm a much higher single-core and multi-core performance compared to the Intel Core i3-3210.

Thanks to the Intel UHD Graphics with 24 execution units, it handles modern video formats with ease, but is not designed for demanding gaming. With a thermal design power of only 6 watts, the Intel Processor N100 is extremely economical and enables silent, fanless systems. It represents an efficient choice for energy-conscious users.
