Comparison of the two processors

Here in this comparison we look at 2 very similar processors that come from the 10th generation of Intel's Celeron processors. They are based on the Jasper Lake architecture and are designed for the BGA 1338 socket. They are both manufactured with a structure width of 10 nanometers and came onto the market in the first quarter of 2021.

The processors come from the mobile area of Intel's CPU program and are each equipped with 4 processor cores. The clock frequency is almost identical, the basic clock is 2.00 gigahertz and the maximum possible clock is 2.90 gigahertz. However, if all cores are used in parallel, this maximum value is not reached; the Intel Celeron N5095 then only clocks at 2.50 gigahertz and the Intel Celeron N5105 at a maximum of 2.60 gigahertz.

However, the biggest difference between the two processors lies in the internal graphics unit. The Intel Celeron N5095 is equipped with Intel UHD Graphics from the Jasper Lake architecture. This iGPU has 16 execution units with 128 shaders and clocks at a maximum of 0.75 gigahertz. This means that the graphics unit achieves an FP32 computing power (single precision) of 193 GigaFLOPS. The Intel Celeron N5105 also uses an iGPU from the Jasper Lake architecture, but here it is equipped with 24 execution units and 192 shaders. In addition, the maximum clock speed is increased to 0.90, which means that an FP32 computing power of 360 GigaFLOPS is achieved. Both graphics units can share up to 8 gigabytes of the system's built-in RAM.

Both the Intel Celeron N5095 and the Intel Celeron N5105 are equipped with 2 memory channels through which they can be operated with up to 16 gigabytes of RAM. DDR4-2933 memory is supported, which achieves a maximum bandwidth of 46.9 GB/s.
