Intel Celeron N3350 vs Intel Processor N100

Last updated:
The Intel Celeron N3350, introduced in late 2016, is a 14nm processor (Braswell architecture) for cost-effective entry-level devices.

It offers 2 cores and 2 threads, an Intel HD Graphics 500, and a max. memory bandwidth of 30 GB/s with 2 MB Level 3 Cache. Its performance is designed for very simple tasks such as web browsing and light word processing. The Intel Processor N100, introduced in 2023, is a more modern 10nm processor (Alder Lake N architecture) for energy-efficient laptops and mini PCs.

It features 4 cores and 4 threads, a more powerful Intel UHD Graphics with 24 EUs, and a max. memory bandwidth of 38 GB/s, supported by 4 MB Level 2 and 6 MB Level 3 Cache. It delivers significantly higher performance for everyday tasks. In a direct comparison, the Intel Processor N100 significantly outperforms the Intel Celeron N3350 in single-core and multi-core performance, with differences well over 10 percent.

Both are not suitable for demanding gaming; however, the Intel Processor N100 offers a slight advantage in very undemanding titles thanks to more modern integrated graphics and higher memory bandwidth. The Intel Processor N100 is more efficient due to its 10nm manufacturing process and is predestined for fanless systems.

The price-performance ratio of the Intel Processor N100 is significantly better for current requirements. The Intel Celeron N3350 is only relevant for extremely price-conscious niche applications or as a replacement in older devices.
