Intel Atom C5320 vs Intel Processor N150

The Intel Atom C5320 (Parker Ridge architecture) is a processor designed for energy-efficient applications in embedded systems or network storage solutions, focusing on basic functionality.

The Intel Processor N150 (Twin Lake architecture) targets low-power entry-level systems such as mini-PCs or thin clients, where moderate computing performance is required.

The Intel Atom C5320 is manufactured using the 10 nm process, has 9 MB of Level 2 cache, and a maximum memory bandwidth of 47 GB/s, with PCIe 3.0 support. The Intel Processor N150 is produced using the more advanced 7 nm process, features 4 MB of Level 2 cache and 6 MB of Level 3 cache.

Its memory bandwidth is 38 GB/s, and it also offers PCIe 3.0 support. No benchmark values are available for the Intel Atom C5320; its performance is intended for very simple tasks. The Intel Processor N150, however, offers significantly higher computing performance.

Its valid benchmark results show a noticeable superiority in single-core and multi-core applications, making it better suited for typical office work and web browsing. Demanding gaming is not possible with either processor. The Intel Processor N150 features integrated Intel UHD Graphics 24 EUs (Alder Lake), which is sufficient for basic multimedia playback and very light games.

Both are energy-efficient and ideal for fanless systems. Thanks to newer manufacturing and higher performance, the Intel Processor N150 offers a superior price-performance ratio for general application areas.
