This processor offers solid performance for everyday mobile applications. In benchmarks, it shows comparable single- and multi-core performance, sufficient for common multitasking and moderate gaming requirements.

Its energy efficiency is typical for the 5 nm process. The Google Tensor G5 (CPU2) utilizes the more advanced G5 Laguna architecture and is manufactured using the state-of-the-art 3 nm process. It is equipped with an IMG DXT-48-1536 graphics unit and achieves a maximum memory bandwidth of 51 GB/s.

Compared to the Google Tensor, the Google Tensor G5 delivers significantly higher single- and multi-core performance, making it ideal for demanding applications, intensive multitasking, and a superior gaming experience. The 3 nm fabrication process also enables improved energy efficiency.
