The AMD E-350 was introduced in early 2011 as part of the Zacate platform and was primarily aimed at low-cost micro-PCs and compact desktop systems.

It uses the Bobcat architecture and is manufactured in a 32-nanometer process. With two cores, two threads, and a 1 MB L3 cache, the processor provides a solid foundation for basic office work. In benchmarks, the AMD E-350 shows measurably higher single-core performance compared to its successor, which is advantageous for everyday applications.

The integrated AMD Radeon HD 6310 graphics unit enables smooth video playback, but only achieves minimal frame rates in games. With a thermal design power of 18 watts, the system remains energy efficient. Due to its age, the hardware is primarily found on the second-hand market. This model is recommended for tasks that benefit from higher single-core performance.

The AMD E-450 appeared as an optimized version of its predecessor and is also aimed at mobile devices and compact computers.

It is based on the Zacate architecture and produced in a 32-nanometer process. Despite having two cores, according to available data, the single-core performance is lower than that of the AMD E-350, while the memory bandwidth is higher at 11 GB/s. In gaming scenarios, the AMD E-450 achieves better results thanks to the AMD Radeon HD 6320, as this graphics unit supports higher clock speeds.

With a TDP of 18 watts and a 1 MB L3 cache, the thermal design remains identical. The price-performance ratio is appropriate for the simplest tasks, with the processor being used as a cost-effective second-hand option for undemanding activities such as simple file servers. It represents the better choice when higher memory bandwidth and graphics performance are required.
