The E-Series combines AMD CPU and GPU unit, as well as video and other hardware accelerators on a single chip.

The E series was at first intended for use in notebooks and has higher frequencies as the AMD C-series. The current 3rd generation of the A-series goes by the name "Llano" and is now used for both, notebook and desktop area. This generation was released in the summer of 2012.
