The
Intel Atom Z3775D, manufactured in the 22 nm process, is based on Intel's
Bay Trail architecture. This processor found its way into many compact and mobile devices. It was known for its remarkable energy efficiency. This enabled manufacturers to realize particularly slim and even fanless designs.
This was a great advantage especially for tablets and netbooks. The integrated Intel HD Graphics (Bay Trail GT1) provided sufficient graphics performance. It easily mastered everyday tasks such as surfing the internet. Playing videos in good quality was also possible. With 2 MB Level 3 Cache, the chip supported fast data processing.
The maximum memory bandwidth reached 11 gigabytes per second. We felt that it was a processor that fulfilled its task as the heart of mobile devices well. It offered a reliable basis for daily mobile use. A balanced overall package for its target group at the time.
