The MediaTek MT8125 is a processor primarily developed for low-cost tablets and mobile devices.

It uses the Cortex-A7 architecture and is manufactured in a 28-nanometer process. The system has four physical cores without multithreading. With a Level 2 cache of only one megabyte, data throughput is limited compared to other solutions. The integrated PowerVR SGX544 graphics unit enables simple visual representations but is hardly sufficient for demanding games.

Due to the manufacturing technology and the number of cores, the computing power is moderate. Energy consumption is low in absolute terms, and efficiency in relation to performance is tailored for mobile use. This chip is used in devices that aim for a low price level for basic tasks.
