This processor was developed for mobile business laptops that require reliable computing power. With four cores and eight threads, it enables solid processing of parallel tasks. The L3 cache is 6 MB, while there is no dedicated L2 cache. In benchmarks, the Intel Core i5-8365U achieves higher single-core performance than the Intel Processor N200, while multi-core performance is at a similar level.

The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 is unsuitable for demanding games. With a thermal design power of 15 watts, it offers a balanced ratio between energy requirements and waste heat. It represents a cost-efficient solution for office applications and ensures stable system speed. For classic business applications, this processor is the recommended choice.

The Intel Processor N200 is based on the Alder Lake N architecture and is produced using a 10 nm process. It is designed for entry-level laptops and compact systems where mobility is the primary focus. The processor offers four cores without hyperthreading. While the L2 cache is more generously sized at 4 MB, the single-core performance lags behind that of the Intel Core i5-8365U, but reaches a comparable level in multi-core performance.

The Intel UHD Graphics with 32 execution units is optimized for simple media content, but not designed for gaming. A striking advantage is the very low thermal design power of 6 watts, which often allows for passive cooling. The Intel Processor N200 is therefore an option for silent devices used for word processing and video streaming with high energy efficiency.

For fanless systems, this model is ideal.
