Both processors are unsuitable for demanding gaming. The Intel Core i5-8259U offers higher multi-core performance and a more powerful integrated graphics unit. The Intel Processor N97 excels with more modern manufacturing, excellent energy efficiency, and good single-core performance.

For power-efficient basic systems, the Intel Processor N97 is ideal. For more demanding multitasking tasks or slightly improved graphics, the Intel Core i5-8259U is the better choice.
