The Intel Core i5-4210M is based on the Haswell H architecture and was designed for mobile systems. It is aimed at users who want to perform basic computing tasks.

Manufactured using the 22 nanometer process, this processor has two computing cores and four threads. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600 handles the graphical representation, but offers insufficient performance in demanding titles. In terms of computing power, the Intel Core i5-4210M shows lower efficiency than newer solutions in synthetic tests for both single-core and multi-core loads.

Memory bandwidth is limited to 26 GB/s, which restricts data throughput. Due to the architecture and lower core count, performance is limited in many applications. The thermal design power is higher compared to newer low-power processors, which affects heat generation. The Intel Processor N100 comes from the Alder Lake N architecture and is intended for energy-efficient, compact computers.

It is manufactured using the 10 nanometer process and offers four cores and four threads. With a Level 3 cache of 6 MB and a memory bandwidth of 38 GB/s, it significantly outperforms older models in data processing. In benchmarks, the Intel Processor N100 delivers significantly higher single-core and multi-core performance.

The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 24 EUs offers higher graphics performance than the competing model, but remains unsuitable for complex games. A key advantage is the very low power consumption, which enables cool operation. The price-performance ratio of this model is advantageous for simple office work.

In most usage scenarios, the Intel Processor N100 is the better choice due to its more efficient architecture.
