The single-core performance of the Intel Core i5-9400 is also measurably better. These differences are mainly due to the higher core count and larger cache of the Intel Core i5-9400.

In the gaming sector, the Intel Core i5-9400 offers superior performance thanks to its additional cores and higher clock speeds, especially in games that benefit from multiple threads.
