Intel Celeron N4505 vs Intel Celeron N4000C

Last updated:
The Intel Celeron N4505 is based on the Jasper Lake architecture and is manufactured using a 10-nanometer process.

This processor is aimed at budget-conscious users who want to perform simple tasks such as office work or web browsing. With two cores and two threads, it offers a reliable foundation for basic applications. In various tests, the Intel Celeron N4505 shows a significantly higher single-core performance compared to the competing model.

The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 16 EUs (Jasper Lake) supports video playback efficiently but is hardly suitable for gaming. Due to efficient manufacturing, the thermal design power remains low, which simplifies cooling. Equipped with 2 MB Level 2 cache and 4 MB Level 3 cache as well as a memory bandwidth of 47 GB/s, it offers adequate data processing.

This processor is a solid choice for compact and silent desktop computers. The Intel Celeron N4000C uses the Gemini Lake architecture and is produced in a 14-nanometer process.

It was designed for very affordable end devices where basic functions are sufficient. Like its counterpart, it has two cores and two threads. General computing power is measurably below that of the comparison model, which can affect the responsiveness of web applications. The graphics unit is the Intel UHD Graphics 600, which is only intended for simple office applications.

With a memory bandwidth of 38 GB/s and no Level 2 cache, data processing is slower than with the Jasper Lake model. While low energy consumption allows for economical operation, it limits the possible applications to very simple usage scenarios. The Intel Celeron N4000C is primarily found in very inexpensive entry-level systems and is suitable for users with minimal requirements for computing power.
