Intel Celeron N3000 vs Intel Celeron N3010

Last updated:
The Intel Celeron N3000 (introduced Q2 2015) and the Intel Celeron N3010 (introduced Q1 2016) are Braswell architecture dual-core processors, designed for energy-efficient entry-level devices such as mini-PCs or thin clients.

Both are manufactured using a 14 nm process and feature two cores and two threads. They share 2 MB of Level 3 Cache and offer a maximum memory bandwidth of 26 GB/s, as well as integrated Intel HD Graphics 400. In terms of performance, the Intel Celeron N3010 shows slightly higher single-core and multi-core performance than the Intel Celeron N3000 in benchmarks like Geekbench 6, reflecting the better efficiency of the slightly newer revision.

Differences in Cinebench R23 single-core performance, however, are less pronounced. Both processors are not suitable for gaming scenarios; the integrated graphics unit is only sufficient for basic display output and very simple applications. Their primary strength lies in energy efficiency with very low power consumption, enabling fanless and silent system designs.

As they are older models, they are hardly relevant in the new purchase market anymore. At the time, they offered good value for money for their niche but are now surpassed by more modern CPUs. The Intel Celeron N3010 is the slightly more powerful choice for basic, energy-saving applications under similar conditions.
