The Intel Celeron J1900 was designed for desktop and embedded systems, while the Intel Celeron N2830 was used for mobile devices such as inexpensive laptops. Both CPUs are manufactured by Intel using the 22 nm process and utilize the integrated Intel HD Graphics (Bay Trail GT1) with 21 GB/s memory bandwidth.

The single-core performance is comparable. The multi-core performance of the Intel Celeron J1900 is significantly superior due to its double core count.

The Intel Celeron J1900 also supports PCIe 2.0. Both are unsuitable for gaming; their integrated graphics are only sufficient for very simple applications. Both are designed for low power consumption, enabling fanless designs and long battery life. They are hardly available new anymore.
