Since the memory bandwidth is below 300 GB/s, its suitability for complex AI calculations is lower. The thermal design is geared towards stable power consumption, ensuring constant performance. The processor's pricing proves to be competitive within the Windows ecosystem. The Apple M4 Max (14-CPU 32-GPU) is aimed at professional users and is manufactured using the 3-nanometer process.

The architecture does without a Level 3 cache, but offers a Level 2 cache of 44 MB.
