The Samsung Exynos 8890 was a remarkable processor. It once played a central role in many mobile devices. It relied on an advanced hybrid architecture. This consisted of four powerful, specially developed Exynos M1 cores. In addition, there were four efficient Cortex-A53 cores.

This combination enabled a balanced performance for various tasks. It was manufactured using the then highly modern 14 nm process. This contributed significantly to its good energy efficiency. This was crucial for the battery life of mobile devices. The integrated graphics solution, an ARM Mali-T880 MP12, provided a convincing display.

At the same time, it demonstrated Samsung's expertise in chip development.
