The
Samsung Exynos 5433 represented a significant step at the time of its introduction. Manufactured using the 20nm process, this was a technical advancement. It enabled high transistor density with good energy efficiency for mobile devices. The processor uses a Big.LITTLE architecture. Here, powerful
ARM Cortex-A57 cores are used.
These were intended for computationally intensive tasks and provided plenty of power at the time. They are complemented by efficient
ARM Cortex-A53 cores. This combination offered a remarkable balance of performance and power saving. It ensured high performance when needed and good efficiency at idle.
The integrated graphics unit, the ARM Mali-T760 MP6, was also a highlight. It supported the smooth display of complex graphics. We could thus use demanding apps and games without any problems. With a 2 MB Level 2 Cache, data could be processed quickly. The
Samsung Exynos 5433 offered a robust basis overall.
It was tailored to the needs of mobile devices of its time.
