Intel Core i3-4360 vs Intel Core Ultra 5 332

Last updated:
The Intel Core i3-4360 was introduced as part of the Haswell S architecture for budget-conscious desktop users.

It is manufactured using the 22 nm process and features two cores with four threads. The technical base includes no Level 2 cache, a 4 MB Level 3 cache, and support for PCIe 3.0. In terms of performance, there is a clear gap compared to more technically advanced models. Results in benchmarks like Geekbench 6 illustrate that both single-core and multi-core performance lag behind more modern standards.

For gaming, the integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600 is only of limited use. The maximum memory bandwidth of 26 GB/s limits data throughput for computationally intensive tasks. This processor represents a very cost-effective but low-performance option, particularly on the used market. In contrast, the Intel Core Ultra 5 332 is based on the Panther Lake architecture and uses a modern 2 nm manufacturing process.

This processor is aimed at users who value efficiency and modern features. The performance in synthetic tests like Geekbench 6 is significantly higher than that of the comparison model, enabling smooth operation in applications. With 10 MB Level 2 and 12 MB Level 3 cache, as well as a memory bandwidth of 120 GB/s, it provides a solid foundation for multitasking.

The integrated Intel Xe3 2 Core Graphics 16 EUs, in combination with PCIe 5.0, ensures better gaming capability compared to basic office CPUs. Thanks to its high efficiency, power consumption remains moderate. The Intel Core Ultra 5 332 is therefore better suited for systems with high demands for efficiency and technology.
