The Intel Core i3-3110M came onto the market in mid-2012 and utilizes the Ivy Bridge H architecture.

Due to the more modern 22 nm manufacturing process, the processor operates fundamentally more efficiently. It also has two cores and four threads with a Level 3 cache of 3 MB. In terms of pure computing power, the Intel Core i3-3110M is on par with its predecessor, as the measurable differences in benchmarks are not significant.

A technical advantage is the integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000, which enables better performance for multimedia applications compared to its predecessor. Memory bandwidth was increased to 26 GB/s, accelerating data exchange. The TDP remains constant at 35 watts. Overall, the Intel Core i3-3110M is the more sensible choice for users looking for a stable base for everyday tasks due to the improved graphics unit.
